Dr. Thaah | M

Thandazani Mhlanga has spent many years immersed in the study and practice of spirituality as an educator and practitioner accompanying others through seasons of reflection and transition. His work is shaped by both academic grounding and lived experience, with particular attention to the ways spiritual traditions and inherited frameworks continue to shape how people understand themselves and the world around them.

Drawing insight from the history of religious imagination and from the beliefs and practices of ancient civilizations, he brings historical depth and careful curiosity to questions that often feel intensely personal but are rarely only personal. Much of his work involves helping people recognize that what they are experiencing has been part of the human story for a very long time.

Raised in a deeply spiritual home, Mhlanga encountered the richness and diversity of spiritual life early on. Over time, his work within institutional religious settings also brought him into contact with many people whose experiences no longer fit comfortably within inherited structures of belief or belonging. These encounters helped shape his ongoing commitment to creating space for thoughtful reflection during seasons when familiar frameworks begin to shift.

Through Home of Meaning, Dr. Mhlanga offers historically grounded reflections and orientation for those seeking a steady and honest way to remain in conversation with the spiritual dimension of life—especially when certainty is no longer available but meaning still matters.
